CCFR wanted to move away from the monotonous member management of pen and paper.
They had a CRM with a lot of the data, but, after years of arduously trying to get an app off the ground, every development team member they hired ran aground at the implementation to the CRM phase.
The reason why other agencies could not complete this app is simple:
Now-a-days too many people try to use tools upon tools to get the job done. But sometimes you have to go back to the basics.
Evolve Digital knew the web inside out and backwards.
We quickly recognized the errors they were experiencing. We took the project on with a half-baked UI and no CRM functionality.
We built a new proprietary CRM connector using the basics. The CRM had a REST api, but no SDKs (Software Development Kits) to access. This is where the last developers could not move forward. This is pretty much uncharted territory where AI or pre-built tools have no clue how to interact appropriately with the CRM data.
Our team made an app using code from the ground up. This meant we could choose exactly what, when and where to implement the functionality of the app. If we used tools or pre-built themes, we would have been greatly restricted on implementation.
We then build an closed source REST API SDK to interact with their CRM. Using this SDK, we were able to integrate with their CRM quickly and efficiently with just a few lines of code.
From there, there were the typical loose ends, like webhooks (where something happens on another platform, and we need to know), payments and other functionalities.
A few months after the initial launch, we helped CCFR again by implementing a proprietary CMS platform in the app to manage all announcements and weekly updates.
